Design Guidelines

1. Mansfield Pride’s mission: By empowering the LGBTQIA+ community in North Central Ohio, we gather to build connections, foster inclusivity, educate and advocate for a more equitable future for all making a lasting difference for generations to come.
2. The design should incorporate the 2026 Theme: Pride Rising
3. Some applications of the logo will also need to include event details. You may include a version with these elements or we can add the necessary text later on.

   • Festival 12-4pm
   • South Park, Mansfield, OH
4. We will be able to use full color designs in our printing process. CMYK color is preferable to RGB. 
5. The logo will be used on both digital and printed marketing materials for the 2026 festival.
6. The logo will also be used to print on T-shirts, in a square/round shape on the front. If you’d like to submit smaller add-on designs for use on sleeves, a sticker, etc., you can. 
7. If you include text/font in your design, please convert text/font to outline/curves (vectorize), and include two files; one with just the graphic, and one with the text plus graphic.
8. Your design must be scalable. 
9. File must be in JPEG, PNG, or SVG format. 
10. File must be 300 DPI
11. You can add your signature to the graphic if you’d like. We can’t guarantee that it will be readable within the final product, but we will try to retain it if possible.

Rules

1. All submitted designs must be your own design, free of copyrighted or trademarked Intellectual Property
2. Your design is your own IP; you can reuse it for other purposes, as long as you are not named the contest winner. 
3. If you are named the contest winner, once announced, your design IP rights are transferred to Mansfield Gay Pride Association as the owner of the IP rights to that design.
4. You can enter as many designs as you like.
5. Each design must be submitted separately, with your name, email address, and phone number attached. 
6. Mansfield Pride Board Members and their immediate family members are not permitted to submit designs.  
7. Designs must be within the broad definition of “family friendly”; no explicit swearing, violent images, or violent words will be considered. 
8. No submissions will be considered after 11:59 pm on April 15, 2026.
